Throughout my life I have always wanted to understand human emotions and as a teenager I discovered acting and how it worked as an outlet to portray all these different emotions. As time passed I realized that even though I loved acting, I was meant to be behind a camera.

 

Being a director, I can not only portray emotions through my actors but also through what I choose to show in my shot.

 

Everything from sound to lighting to the smallest detail on a characters clothing lets me tell a story not only with words but with silence. As a director I don't simply portray stories and emotions through a lens, I connect the audience to them.
